• Communications: messages you send us via support, email, or feedback forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the mokup service.
• Process your mockup renders, AI generations, and Pro Shot requests.
• Manage your account and subscription.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notices).
• Send product updates and marketing emails (you can opt out at any time).
• Respond to support requests and feedback.
• Monitor and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Features and Third-Party API Services

mokup uses artificial intelligence features, including AI design generation, AI product photography (Pro Shot), and AI-assisted scene creation. Some of these features are powered by third-party AI API providers (for example, image generation and processing services).

When you use an AI feature, the content you submit (such as uploaded images, text prompts, or design files) may be transmitted to these third-party providers solely to process your request and return a result. We work only with providers who contractually agree not to use your content to train their models and who maintain appropriate security standards.

Specifically:

• Your uploaded artwork and prompts are sent to the relevant AI API to generate or process the requested output.
• We do not sell your content or prompts to AI providers or any third party.
• Third-party AI providers are bound by data processing agreements and are not permitted to retain or train on your submitted content beyond what is required to return your result.
• Generated outputs (images, renders, videos) are stored in your mokup account and are accessible only to you unless you choose to share them.

By using AI features, you confirm that you have the right to submit the content you upload and that doing so does not infringe any third-party rights.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Keep you logged in to your account.
• Remember your preferences.
• Analyze how the service is used (via analytics tools such as Google Analytics).
• Measure the performance of marketing campaigns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the service.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and AI API providers, each bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of mokup and its users.
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your mokup account.

8. Children's Privacy

mokup is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

10. International Transfers

mokup operates globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data during any international transfer.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or via a notice on the site. Your continued use of mokup after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
